There Is No Sin’s Monkey
It’s here! The brand new video for There Is No Sin’s recently released CD We Are Revealed was completed recently by filmmaker Rukshan Thenuwara.
Like the video for “El Cid,” this one too was shot in California. The costume, the official mascot for local pub The Snug, was shipped from Maine to be worn by an “as yet to be revealed” actor.
The plot was developed by There Is No Sin’s Troy Keiper but Mr. Thenuwara brought a bit of lightness to the theme. Keiper says, “The video had all of the elements that I’d pictured but Rukshan saw the humorous side of the monkey’s life. I adore what he did.”

First Show of the New Year
Well, Boston, you’ll be the first to see There Is No Sin this year!
They’re playing a show at Store 54 this Saturday alongside Boston faves Embrionic. They’re on at about 10:30 from what we hear. For emerging details, you can check out the tour page at the band’s site.
We’ll have a big video announcement coming up next week. It involves that pesky monkey. Stay tuned.

Breaking news!
The new CD by There Is No Sin just topped the Best of List by the Portland Phoenix! It was ranked #1 on the list of local releases in 2011 by their resident music guru Sam Pfeifle! Awesome!

We woke up to some great news! Sam Pfeifle, the Portland Phoenix’s music editor, just printed a wonderfully insightful review of the new There Is No Sin CD in this week’s edition.

Last U.S. Live Show There Is No Sin
It’s your last chance to see there is no sin before they head to France in October.

The U.S. release date for the new There Is No Sin CD We Are Revealed will be October 25th, 2011.
That’s just two months away!
As a featured download in Under The Radar, the CD has been getting a fair bit of attention. The book was recently read on an indie radio program and the band’s intense shows have been creating a buzz. The last show in Portland was sold out!
The band heads to Europe in October to coincide with the European release date, October 4th.

It’s back!
We remastered, retracked and reeverythinged the 2009 release by There Is No Sin.
We needed to take down this the record in June to fix some issues with distribution and titling. As soon as we did, the messages started coming, “hey, is the first CD in iTunes?”
Keep in mind that if you buy the digital release, you can get original full color booklet that came with the CD in PDF form. Just drop us an email using the form below and we’ll email a copy of it to you!
