Starting this week we’re sending out little cards letting everybody in on the new release. We Are Revealed doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’re hoping that Summer 2011 narrows it down! The official site, http://wearerevealed.com will have all of the details by the end of March, so stay tuned.

If you’re an iTunes user, our Friday contest is for you!
The rules are super simple. You can win one of two prizes: a $10 iTunes gift certificate or…a $10 iTunes gift certificate! Odds depend on how many entries we get, obviously.
There are TWO ways to enter:
- Send a Tweet. Pretty easy! All it has to say is “Checking out @THEREISNOSIN’s new CD at http://www.wearerevealed.com” and we’ll collect your entries from the band.
- Post a link on Facebook to the above site and then Like our Contest status update to enter. Our Facebook fan page is at http://www.facebook.com/indierecords . Of course, we can’t track you very well from the first part so we’ll just use the honor system. 🙂

We’ve been online a lot lately with the new There Is No Sin CD. Turns out trying to generate some noise is kinda fun. We’ve got a few more months before it comes out.
Then, someone asked if we had a Facebook page and we just sat there dumbfounded. We’d overlooked that in 2010. And what about Twitter? Forgot that one too.

Ceci l’un a sailli pour quelques raisons : c’était la seule soumission originale a tiré dans le noir & le blanc et il nous a envoyé par e-mail personnellement. Troie a ri : “I ne pense jamais au partenaire’s problèmes d’alcool…I toujours s’imagine comme le buveur de problème. ”

Notre soumission gagnante pour “ER” a été créée et a été éditée par Dana McIlleney de Chicago. C’était la seule soumission qui didn’t usage longeur originale. Tous les scènes ont été tirées des vidéos de domaine publiques sur les Archives d’Internet. Nous avons été charmés par les scènes des annonces de cigarette. “Ignore la bizarrerie de ‘prime-time publicités de cigarette’ comme un concept cependant, les séquences d’arrêt-animation était insensé pour ce temps, ” a commenté Troie.

Nouvelle Année, Nouveau Site Web
Nous célébrons la nouvelle année en dévoilant le site officiel pour la prochaine n’ya pas de CD Sin “Nous sont révélés.”
Dans cette chanson s’appelle “Untitled”. Il s’agit de la troisième voie hors du disque à venir. Il met en vedette certains des plus tristes paroles que nous avons entendu off (les lignes de Troy chante pendant le pont).
Les photos? Ils sont l’œuvre de Leroy Skalstad, un photographe de Milwaukee qui a capturé la vie d’innombrables personnes sans domicile fixe sur la pellicule. Leroy est membre de l’Aide-Portait, à but non lucratif avec un objectif intéressant: obtenir des photographies de personnes dans le besoin. Pour plus d’informations, cliquez ici.
New Year, New Site!
We’re celebrating the New Year by unveiling the official site for the upcoming There Is No Sin CD “We Are Revealed.”
The featured song is called “Untitled.” It’s the third track off the upcoming disc. It features some of the saddest lyrics we’ve heard off (the lines Troy sings during the bridge).
The photos? They’re the work of Leroy Skalstad, a Milwaukee photographer who has captured the lives of countless homeless people on film. Leroy is a member of Help-Portait, a non-profit with an interesting goal: get photographs to those in need. For more information, click here.

The winning video for “El Cid” was shot by Rukshan Thenuwara in California. This one stuck out for a few reasons: it was the only original submission shot in black & white and he emailed us personally. Troy laughed: “I never think about the partner’s alcohol issues…I always picture myself as the problem drinker.”

Our winning submission for “ER” was created and edited by Dana McIlleney of Chicago. It was the only submission that didn’t use original footage. All of the scenes were pulled from public domain videos on the Internet Archives. We were captivated by the scenes from the cigarette ads. “Ignore the oddness of ‘prime-time cigarette commercials’ as a concept though, the stop-animation sequences were insane for that time,” commented Troy.

Le photographe français Christophe Garnier a rencontré Troie–a/k/a il n’y A pas de Péché–through Gazouillement. Le deux ont couvé rapidement un projet pour la seconde il n’y A pas de CD de Péché. Christophe’s belle photographie ornera le nouveau projet. Il’s un packet étonnamment unique aussi (nous pouvons’t attente pour le montrer dans quelques semaines).
Jusque-là, nous avons été aussi excités à résister parade la couverture. Comme vous pourriez avoir remarqué, le nouveau CD a été aussi intitulé !

Here it is!
The French photographer Christophe Garnier met Troy–a/k/a There Is No Sin–through Twitter. The two quickly hatched a plan for the second There Is No Sin CD. Christophe’s beautiful photography will grace the new project. It’s an amazingly unique package too (we can’t wait to show it off in a few weeks).
Until then, we were too excited to resist showing off the cover. As you may have noticed, the new CD has been titled too!
